How much does a metal stair railing cost?
Our interior railings start around $65 per linear foot installed for a straight vertical-picket design. Loft guardrails, wood top rails, and stairs with turns and landings add to that. A typical two-story home railing runs from about $1,200 to $3,500. Exterior porch handrails start at $450 for a short run.
Can you replace my old wood balusters with metal?
Yes, that is one of our most common jobs. We remove the wood spindles, keep or replace the handrail, and install steel pickets for that clean modern look.
Do you do exterior handrails for steps?
Yes. Porch steps, front stoops, ramps and mobile home steps. Set in concrete or bolted to existing steps, sized so anyone can grab them comfortably.
Is the railing up to code?
We build guardrails to the 36 inch residential height with picket spacing under 4 inches and handrails at a graspable height. If your project is inspected, tell us and we build to the letter.
